On Thursday, January 19th, in Paris, France, Raul, the youngest member of the JPop group Snow Man made his international runway debut on Paris Fashion Week 2023 for Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME 2023-24 A/W Collection.

Previously he collaborated as a runway model at the live-streamed exhibit of the designer’s POUR HOMME 2023 Spring Summer in June 2022 and numerous Special Stages at the Tokyo Girl’s Collection (TGC) music and fashion extravaganza. However, this is Raul’s first in-person appearance outside Japan as a professional fashion runway model.

While in Paris, Raul also seized the opportunity to attend and encounter the work of other incredible designers, walking the red carpet and attending front-row presentations of Givenchy, AMI Alexandre Mattiussi, and Paul Smith. You can see Raul’s adventures on his solo Instagram account @raul.official_sn_j, which opened on Sunday, January 15th. #RaulàParis is living his best life!

Message from Raul:

Last time I was honored to participate in Yohji Yamamoto’s Paris Fashion Week show virtually from Tokyo, but being able to walk the runway in Paris itself was even more nerve-rackingly fun than I could have imagined. The clothes I wore were so unique and inspiring, so I did my best in the hopes that their creativity would be transmitted as much as possible to everyone watching.

As for my first impression of visiting Paris, I had so much fun just walking around the city. No matter where you point the camera, it’s so picturesque!

Congratulations Raul!
