The show revolves around the story of a father’s unconditional love for his child, and the extreme lengths he is willing to go to protect him in times of pressure. Takahashi plays Kyoichi Majima, a young, capable and sharp-witted enforcer of a local crime gang, assigned with the task of finding the boss’ lost son. As his quest leads him deep down the rabbit hole of the son’s dark and violent past, will Majima succumb to the lure of evil, or will his good side prevail? Tune in to find out!
The show is a thrilling adaptation of Naoki Yamakawa‘s manga series of the same name, with illustrations by Masashi Asaki.

“The character I play is what I call “semi-grey.” He does bad things as if it were totally normal, but he also has his own real feelings and a strong core sense of self; a good guy at heart!
When I received this offer, I was equally happy and anxious. Everything about Kyoichi Majima was new to me, and I didn’t know how I should play him. So, I dove into the original work and thought hard about how I could make him my own with the support of the director and my fellow cast. I think I did the best I could!”
